Information we collect

When you complete the job-preference flow, we collect only what we need to send you relevant remote-job alerts:

• First name — so we can address our emails to you.
• Email address — so we can send the job alerts you asked for.
• ZIP code — so we can prioritise openings relevant to your area.
• Employment preference (full-time, part-time, or either) — so alerts match the kind of work you want.
• Your computer and internet response — so we can send alerts for roles you can realistically do from home.
• The employer opportunity you selected — so we know which listing prompted your request.
• Traffic source and campaign information — such as the referring page and campaign parameters in the link you arrived from, so we understand which pages are useful.
• Consent records — which consents you gave, and when, so we can honour your choices.

The two consents, and how they differ

There are two separate checkboxes on the final step, and they are independent of each other.

The required consent covers job-alert emails only. If you check it, we may email you remote job alerts and service updates. This consent is necessary because job alerts are the service you are signing up for.

The optional consent covers promotional email only — career resources, partner opportunities, and affiliate or promotional offers. It is never required. Leaving it unchecked does not limit the job alerts you receive, does not affect the employer links shown to you, and does not block anything on this site.

Accepting the required job-alert consent alone does not authorise promotional or affiliate email. We only send promotional email to people who checked the separate optional box.

Service providers

QualifyAndGo may use third-party service providers to host its database and to deliver email, when those services are enabled. If and when such providers are enabled, they may process the information described above solely to provide those services to us, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and tracking technologies

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is limited today. We read basic referral and campaign information from the link you arrived from. If and when analytics are enabled, this section will be updated to describe the additional cookies or measurement technologies in use before they are introduced.

How we use your information

• To send the remote job alerts you consented to receive.
• To send promotional or partner email, only if you gave the separate optional consent.
• To understand which pages and campaigns help people find remote openings.
• To keep records of the consents you gave.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed to job alerts, and for a reasonable period afterwards to honour unsubscribe requests and to keep a record of the consents you gave. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete it except where we are required to keep a minimal record of your request.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us. However, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@qualifyandgo.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm the request came from the email address on file.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email privacy@qualifyandgo.com and ask to be removed. You can opt out of promotional email while keeping job alerts, or opt out of both.

QualifyAndGo is not an employer

QualifyAndGo is an independent job-discovery service. We are not an employer, recruiter, or staffing agency, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company listed on this site.

Employer hiring decisions, job requirements, compensation, application processes, and whether an opening is still available are entirely outside QualifyAndGo's control. Completing our job-preference flow is not an employment application.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be described here before they take effect.
